Inliners International Forums General Discussion Engines 1970 c10 with a 292

I'm looking at a c-10 that has a 292 in it with a 4sp tranny (granny gear).

I was wondering what the 292 were rated at for torque and hp coming out of the factory and what my options are for changing the tranny. I would really like a 5 or 6 speed.
