hello, I'm new here and actually couldn't really find what i was looking for on turbocharging a chevy 250, its a 1979 250chevy engine with the integrated head. And i like to know if it is worth turbocharging it to get 200-250hp or am i better of using other mods? car has to be driveable in low and high rpm. don't know at what rpm i cruise the most cuz i dont have a tachometer. In time I'll add an overdrive to the car.
my current setup is:
Chevy 250 engine 1979 (truck)
rochester varajet 2se
standard exhaust
1965 3speed (three on the tree) gearbox
If its worth it what parts do i need
What vehicle is the engine in? There is late model GM 275/290HP (stock HP) inline 6 as an alternative to doing all the engine work.
