Inliners International Forums General Discussion Engines Difference between a flywheels and flexplates.

Buddy has a 250 with an auto. He wants to swap it to a 292. Are there any differences between 250 and 292 flex plates? And for my question....are the any differences between flywheels? Thanks guys
