What transmission are you going to run and what rear gear? It will make a difference on your cam choice and converter.

If you opt for the demon carb do two things right off the bat.

1) Check for metal debri inside the carb.

2) Double check that the jets installed are correct, you can double check this by going to the BG website and comparing what you find.

The carbs are matched to your camshaft, not saying anything against your buddy but I'd speak directly with the BG tech to determine which model is ideal.

Sounds like a lot of trouble but from what I gather, its worth it. Good luck

P.S. While holding your summit card, make several strategic cuts with a pair of scissors, now take the pieces and lay them in the trash. \:\) Save up and pay cash, credit will end up bitting you in the a$$. Kidding, kinda . Have fun

I recommend you do some serious research on this.

There's a lot more to building a Hot Rod than buying parts on plastic.

Good luck. \:\)

First Off the shorty Headers you need a full length exhaust. EVEN Clifford will tell you that. Personaly If you can get the full you'd be better off. If you're plaining double duty with the motor
You will be able to uncap the headers for the
track If you wanted to?? Cliffords Like Most L6
Headers By anyone else even Are Not of Equal Length But still offer Better tuneing ability over the shorties. Like the others said the Tranny & rear end gear will also play a big part In selecting the right cam. But by the same token Gearing will also Hamper street ability. So plan things out well,Think twice Build once.
