The car still has the same water pump.
I thought that maybe I didn't have the crank pulley/damper on far enough, but the space between the crank pulley & timing cover is around an 1/8 of an inch (+ or minus a few hairs).
I'm going to pick up another alternator bracket this weekend. It would be nice if that did the trick.
Maybe I'll get my car on the road before the snow flies!
