Hi guys it's been a long time since I been in here but I do need some advice. I recently started smelling fuel somewhere near my gas tank for the past month. I dropped the tank, emptied all the gas and noticed that someone must of done some repair on my tank without me knowing. I bought the tank brand new and never saw anything like that. Anyhow, I cleaned what it look to me like fiberglass and saw this gold like brass stuff. Can someone tell me if it looks like a repair job and if I can fix it now the right way? I will post pics now.
