i have two of Langdon's Holley Webers on a 320 cid GMC, where they may be not quite enough, but at a total of 400 cfm they would be a bit much for a mild 235. One might be just about right, and less grief to maintain.
On the other hand, if you really want the look and and feel . . . and aggravation . . . of two carburetors, you might talk to Jon Hardgrove at the Carburetor Shop

Mr Hardgrove is one of the more knowledgeable people i've heard on the subject of carburetors, and he will talk to you about your application and tell you how to set them up.
