It can't hurt to do screw in studs. Plus it is cheap ins. that the pressed in studs won't come out Plus you will be one step ahead if you ever de-side to up grade the cam.

So I AM upgrading the cam from stock. Tom’s “thrifty” cam. Which i believe is .512 lift at the valve. So therefore I do need to upgrade from the pressed in studs? How much needs to be machined off for them to fit? And i see there’s multiple lengths of screw in studs, which length is best?
