Hello all, I'm new to this board and was looking for some experts on inline motors. I've inherited a Mercruiser boat motor. My uncle had a project that he was working on, he sadly passed on and could not finish it. I got the motor and the tranny and don't have much of a need for it. I would like to see someone use the motor. It's pretty complete carb, starter, and all the other stuff. It has an Offy intake and a cool cast exhaust manifold with two big exhaust ports kinda of like a cast header of sorts. The motor has #328576 I think it is basically a 68-76 chev 250. I guess my ? is what is something like this worth? Thanks for everyones time. Marc

Your inline 6 cyl is indeed a 250. That casting number was used for Chevy, Buick, and Pontiac engine blocks cast between 1968-76, and was used in Chevelles and Novas as well as the same body types in other GM divisions. Don't know what it would be worth, but I'm sure some of the Inliners around Kansas City would be interested in it.

There has been past discussions on this board about Mercruiser engines, so there is interest. May I suggest that you list everything in the "Inliners" classifieds on this site, maybe for "Best Offer".
