jeff, the big ford sixes were available in f6 ford trucks in '49-'51. there were also industrial versions of the engine sold from '47-'53.
they were 254 ci flatheads rated @ 112 hp and 217 lb ft torque.
i was planning on building up one, with three single barrel carbs, headers, cam and high-compression head, for my '51 ford mainliner in '59, when the us army invited me a camping trip to germany!
