We had the head flowing pretty well and wanted ti see if the manifold bothered it so we bolted it on. No change. Then we decided to see if the Big single barrel carb from a Chev 1 ton truck. We bolted it to the manifold with the head on the flow bench. Dave had already removed the cross brace for the air cleaner and the choke assembly. We opened the throttle and flowed the carb as well Reading was unaffected so we knew the carb would not hurt perfomance. Carb was certainly up to the job. Sorry we didnt record the figures but you have them now so that macht nichts. We were just exporing the potential and asking ourselves a bunch of searching questions."

You may have to do some digging but many of the GM carbs are there.
