I am currently installing a 292 into my 34 plymouth coupe. My question is if grade 5 bolts are Ok for the flexplate or do I need a higher grade. It is very diffucult to fine this bolt size in Sweden. The 292 is stock and it will be connected to a 350 tranny. Thanks for your help

I would recommend Grade 8. Do not know what your mail order situation is, but small block Chev bolts work for the 7/16" bolts or if your crank is drilled for 1/2" you can use 389-455 Pontiac bolt kits.

I use the Pontiac bolts for my GMC's. Make sure you get the ones that are not for a flywheel. They have a shoulder and may not work for a flexplate. Good Luck
