Inliners International Forums General Discussion Engines 250, 292 HEI Dist cap/coil

Anyone know were to get a good looking HEI dist cap/coil like the one that was shown in the pics of the Chevelle with the 292. It was a grey Accel unit. None of my local parts stores can find it. Accel does not list one, only the tan one. Or some other color or combo. Need it for a 84 292 HEI coil in cap.

If you can't find the Color you want Just Paint it.

Accel makes a grey super coil for the HEI, which covers the top of the distributor cap, is this what you are seeing?

elm2627, I have that setup. The Accel / HEI In-Cap 1991-1973 Super Coil With Red And Yellow Primary Wire Part #140003. I bought mine from Autozone. Any of the local o'reillys, checkers, autozone,etc should have them or order it for you. Check on Autozone.com and do a search on the part no. (or look under performance parts/ignition) It should give you a picture of what you want.
