Directly under are the numbers 13B579395
Thanks in advance for any help.

Dear Rich;
What kind of GM block do you have??
Is it cast iron, aluminum, 4,6,8 cylinders and where on the block are you reading these numbers??
Someone here can/will help you, but we need to know what you have etc.
Happy trails.

Hey John; It's a cast iron 6 cylinder.
The numbers are on the distributor pad.
Thanks, Rich

Rich,
An earlier thread discussing casting numbers
. I included a link to photos of where to find the casting numbers for 235s and 261s. Is your block a late model (250, etc) or the classic Sovebolt?

Hoyt; I believe that this is a late casting number
from a 250 GM.
Thanks Rich
