Can anyone provide me with the power by-pass, pump by-pass and main jet sizes for a Stromberg BXOV-25 14-23?
Also, is the electric choke going to be a problem (and are they any good?) as I am looking to run dual BXOV-2 on my 261? The second carb will either be another 14-23 or a 14-22, depending what I find.
Thanks,
Bob

BobH, You might try stovebolt.com. Carbking over there seems to be the master on carbs for inlines. He favors Strombergs and Carters.

Thanks,
I posted a similar message there. Hopefully Carbking or one of the other Stromberg experts will have the answer. If not I will probably just buy the carb and try to find a match as it should work for my 261, just not sure about the electric choke on a dual carb setup.

Try giving Recarbco Fuel Systems a call. The number is (925)439-7030. I got my BXOV-2 stuff from them.

Bob; I'm running 3 BXV-35's(14-27)on my 235. Originally I was only using the center choke and it worked just fine. But it was not really needed. I ended up pulling the choke plate off the center one also. I also had to change the accelerator pump travel. They work perfectly. I might be wrong here but isn't the 22's and 23's for a 216? Do they not have a smaller venturi and the smaller bolt pattern? Can't remember the bolt spacing.

Thanks, they do have the smaller 216 bolt spacing. I'm not too worried about that as my intake can be easily modified to fit. Some of the BXOV's had the smaller 1 3/32" venturi but the ones I am looking at using are 1 5/32". From what I have read, 2 BXOV should work well for a street driven 235 or 261. If not, I can always add a third carb.
