He all,
Finished the move from Pensacola Florida to Sapulpa Oklahoma. My idle time is slowly returning.

Been looking around at propane conversions as of late. Still thinking on keeping the offy 3x1 manifold.
How about three of these as a twist:

They have a nice look.

How much are they? Three would flow 345 cfm? Up,dowm, or sideways? Turn a Howard over and mount 5 as up drafts! That would cause a stur. God intended for me to be an Okie, but there was a war!

Hey John,
If you get this to work let me know. I am converting my GMC 270 to LPG with probably an impco 300A. Its for dual fuel but I plan to only run LPG. Do you have much experience with LPG? I could use all the help I can. Check out EBAY. There are lots of folks selling Impco stuff for forklifts and old conversions.

Just finished browsing ebay, tons of neat stuff under propane gear. Nash lift truck has a nice assortment.

There are also lots of sites selling fork equipment on line. Been key word searching on Impco and propane carburators.
No experience on conversions. Just a few part for part repairs/replacments on Zamboni's. The systems are real easy to work on. If I cannot help, maybe some one else can answer. Please post away with your questions.

Thanks for the links. That mixer has a lot of posibilities. With rumors of $1.35 gas this summer my 54 daily might go on propane. I can usualy get bulk for a little over $0.50 a litre.

Id have more 8s but I can't count that high

Some interesting posibilities here.

Just curious what kind of fuel cost savings are we talking about by going to propane vs. gasoline?

That carb looks cool but is tempramental as all get out. I work on LP systems on lifts and have converted plenty of those carbs to the ca100 version. They last longer, start better, run better, easier to adjust, and stay adusted. If I was doing a conversion I would use the CA100-125.
Just my 2cents.

Thanks for the tip lulu47. Looked up a CA100-125. Is this the one you are talking about?
