Got a lot of great ideas from you guys. I am leaning towards putting a TH350 behind my 1954 235. I will be looking for a new rear end possibly a 3:36. Will this be enough power? Its only a 100hp engine to run a torque converter and tranny. Also does anyone know about starter location on this application? I know the starter bolts on to the bell housing now but what about on the TH350? Thanks.

You need to contact either Langdon's Stovebolt or Buffalo Ent. re. that starter, motor mounts and the adapter you'll be needing. That's what these guys do, will have all the answers.
