Ed, my info says that a 1352-192 is an '89 S-truck 2.8 V6 Only, with 3.76 1st gear and a .72 overdrive. Good luck finding a mech. speedo tailhousing. You will want to go through your transmission anyway unless you knew the owner/truck. I wonder if going to a transmission shop would be any help...used cases/junk pile?

You soon will be amoung those T-5 experts giving us all advice.

Ed. You'll need to find a tail shaft and case from an 84-87 S-10. I got lucky. The shop I had do the work had a couple on the shelf just for that purpose.

Does sombody make a little converter? It will most likly cost more than findng a tailhousing. Do t-5 Trannys have stamped numbers, or just the paper barcode?

They have the paper barcode and some also have a metal ID tag like mine did.
Under the Tech Tips section here on the left bar regarding the T5 conversion an electric to mechanical box is mentioned. These guys sell one for $275 plus $50 for another needed part.

The correct tail shaft and housing cost me $250 through the tranny shop.
