Has anyone used the holley universal 2 barrel tbi system? Will it work on a 194-250-292? Says for V8, but why couldn't you use it on a six?

I don't see why not. The Holley computer should pickup the RPM signal as 3/4 of the actual RPM. This should cut the amount of fuel down about right for two less cylinders??? I saw a guy a few years ago who had one on a six in a Jeep. He said it worked well. He also said that when he contacted Holley about the possibility of this application that Holley got really snotty with him and informed him they were for V8s only. Joe

Holley has a newer system out that is designed for smaller engines: Commander TBI that is fully tunable and runs closed loop with an oxygen sensor. Holley claims that the two barrel version is workable on any 4 to small 8 cylinder engine up to 275 HP, and is compatible with forced induction.

I'm in the process of ordering a MegaSquirt system for my 6. The sites are www.bgsoflex.com/megasquirt.html (offical) members.shaw.ca/megasquirt/MS%20FAQ.htm (unofficial). They both have some good info. This won't be the way to do it for most people but it's something to consider. I'll be getting fuel injectors and such off of ebay. I've been bidding.
