250 w/ new exhaust... clifford dual headers, 2in pipes and 15in glasspacks.... after a couple weeks i've decided maybe its a little loud and was considering puttin on a pair of glasspak resonator tips (pacesetter or hooker). that should help quiet it a little, but how would such tips affect the tone? thanks

tips would help if they are resonator type but dont get large diameter.....or try using longer glasspacks if you can purchase them for same $$$ or close to cost of tips..also 1st you may want to try turn downs so sound waves go down and not out-that will make considerable less volume by controlling direction of sounds waves..

You might also try a crossover pipe which would help the bottom end if placed in the proper location and sometimes will eliminate some of the popping sounds if you don't like that.--Paul
