I am wondering if chevy ever put forged pistons in the 250, or were they in something else that will fit. Picked up a nitros kit 100 shot and would like to try it, but I am concerned that the piston will let go. How good are the factory rods.
Thanks

The rods will handle it.As to how long the Stock cast pistons will???????? That will depend on how much you hit the NOS Or what kinda shape they are in Before you start hitting the bottle. But bottom line is cast won't live for ever.

I think NOS reconmends 75hp on stock pistons and rods. If your tune up is good I think it would be OK. NOS is allways on the safe side of there tune ups.

The 250's never came w/forged pistons.
You would need to buy aftermarket pistons to get some forged ones.
If you can find them,,, SBC 307 TRW forged pistons will work for you.

Johnson, also take in account that the lower the RPM you spray, the more Pistons/Rods are stressed. Good luck and keep us posted.

Have someone ever put a NOS fogger at the turbocharger compressor rotor? Like if it was a suplementary injector? What would happened?

I have done just that in a Cavalier I used to own. I couldn't find the proper size injectors that fit properly with my clips, And since I had a nitrous kit lying around, I hooked it up to spray fuel into the charge pipe just before the throttle body. I set it up on a hobbs switch to start spraying once I hit 5 psi, and since I was also using a rising rate fuel pressure regulator, it stayed in decent tune from that boost level up to my max of 8 psi. It's kind of a jury rig way to do it, but it'll work. It's just hard to tune the fuel curve that way.
