I bought a factory copy wire harness from either Chevs of the Forties, or National Chevy Assoc, I cant remember. When I got it, I noticed it was made by a third party. I had a horn relay mishap and fried the harness in the engine compartment. Instead of buying a whole harness, I can trace the cooked wires and replace just them. That would be way cheaper than throwing down another $500 for a complete harness. I would call the two companies, but feel bad about asking them cut themselves out of a possible sale.

Does anyone know of good vintage OE wiring harness makers?

i bought a complete OEM (with some modifications) wiring harness for my 1952 Chevrolet from YnZ Yesterday's Parts ( http://www.ynzyesterdaysparts.com/ ). My car is not yet fully assembled, so i can't report about how well the systems work, but the workmanship of the harness appears to be of first quality.

God's Peace to you.
