I have a 51 Chev.2dr and I would appreciate any tips on removing and supporting the body,without causing any damage to it.

With the 'front clip' separated, you slould be able to use a pair of heavy duty camper lifts. Once you roll the chassis away, 55Gal. drums will hold it up.

There are some variables, so 'common sense rules' apply here, for safety.
