Hey there. Having a problem getting my door locks to work on my front doors. Took both panels off front doors and there is a little bent rod that goes somewhere that I can't figure out how to connect. Does anybody have a drawing, picture, diagram of a complete (put together) lock system for this car? I really hate to drive it around without the locking capability.

Much thanks,
Butch.

73super, Is the problem using a key( lock cylinder not engaging) or is the latch assy in the door giving you the trouble?(lock/unlock button not working.)

Greetings . . .

The old car manual project has the Fisher Body manual online. Page 38 shows where the locking rod attaches:

Dear Butch;

Make sure there's plety of waterproof grease (white) in/on each one before you put the door pannels back on.

Good luck. \:\)
