Just want to get some idea of how many fellow Inliners I will see at Bonneville next month? We are planning on leaving here on Monday the 9th of Aug and get into Wendover late on Thurs. Will be out at the track from Fri until ?????? We should set up a place and time to meet at the track as well as the BBQ on Tues night.....

I'll be there on Thursday PM also, and word is that lots more Inliners will be there as racers and as spectators. The Texas Posse will be doing the Tuesday night BBQ at the KOA campground. All Inliners are invited , we're trying to scare up a large (like 55 gal) pit cooker to feed 75-100 Inliners and guests. Anyone who can loan one will be suitably honored and receive free stuff.

We'll have Inliners "Bonneville 2004" T-shirts for sale, surprise guest racers who normally do it 1/4 mile at a time, and other wholesome fun.

The Bar at the Nevada Crossings/Rainbow will probably be the focal point for impromptu getting together, at least until we misbehave.

I'll be there on Friday. Will have the tent set up at the north end of the pits and will be hanging there and with the "North of 49" crew and the 1034 car of the "MAINE BARONS" racing team.

Bob, were you hanging out with them last year? We were parked right next to the "North of 49" crew with a Flat Black Model A Roadster with a NailHead Buick in it from Canada. We travelled a little ways with the 1034 car as well as we met them at Maxton a couple of years ago when Sam was running it down there. I would think we might end up with them again this year so we will definetly hook up. Are you taking a car to race as well?

Yes, we are that group. I presume Larry is taking the convertible out to B/Ville? Actually, we saw Sam's coupe at his house last year on our way out. He was telling us about his buddy's little Chevy with the Inline in it. Will be great to see it.......

Nope, the Vert ain't going. He decided he didn't like the 330 and the Olds tranny. He is putting a 350 and a 700r4 in it and it won't be done. He is riding with me and we are going to the HAMB drags after B'ville. See ya there.
