It is nice and dry in Colorado, the sun is out, lots of Inliners here, too. Your tools and cars don't rust and corrode here either.

Hi Guys,
I spent the day boarding up the windows on the house. I was going to leave, but the highways are so crowded and gas is so scarce, I stayed. Thanks for the good thoughts and keep all of us in your prayers.

On the bright side: I have my choice of 3 Hurricane parties tonight...seriously though this is is getting real old, real fast. Not the actual storm as much as the hysteria about food, water, gas, plywood etc.

Larry,

You better get a "Merc-Cruiser" motor soon. You could probably use it about now! All kidding a side, keep your head above the water and your oil dry!

I'm relieved to read some of you are still standing. My family came through it pretty well with minor damage although they'll be eating barbecue for at least a week and using lanterns.Just like camping out! \:\) Thank goodness for cell phones.Sincerely hope the rest of you Inliners are doing as well as can be expected.

OK here we go again! This is getting REAL old and it looks like Jean could be the worst one yet. Aimed dead on Orlando as I write this, and the winds are gusting up noticeably. I'm freezin' up extra ice and have a fresh 12-pack of Green Lights chilling....I haven't even got my roof repaired from Charley, there is an eight week delvery time on shingles. Twisted6 and I may be offline for a while but my laptop batteries are full, so as long there is phone service, I won't be totally cut off.

I've boarded up once again. Like Jack I need a roof from the last one. I too hope that the shingles stay on and water damage is negligable. I know it's too much to ask for, but I sure would like the electricity to stay on this time. I'll be in touch when this is over.

I own a mobile home in Avon Park (near Sebring). I lost an awning in Charlie; a piece of trim off the carport in Francis; and the top of the trailer and all of the carport in Jeanne. My 57 stepside Chevy is safe in Indiana. Whew!

I really have to take my hat off to you guys in the storm damaged areas of Florida. My inlaws live in South Venice and they have "weathered" all of the storms and only have had minor damage.
It's hard enough to keep your Inlines running let alone keep them from being destroyed!

Hang in there Florida Inliners. We're are pulling for ya!

Larry-- I don't know what part exactly. I got accepted to the Mercedes Benz training school. It's off of TPC Drive by 436 and 15. I'm starting Jan. 3 for four months. Then I have to work for a Mercedes dealer for a year. Shouldn't be too bad. ;\)

It's good to here that y'all are doing ok. I've got an aunt in Titusville, and my family is in southeast GA (Valdosta). Thankfully my aunt only lost a few more shingles off the room, and has some water damage. Good luck guys. Be safe. John

Hi All,

Well, I finally got my cable back. I was only out of electricity for about a 1/2 hour, cable for 3 days. Lost a few more shingles and some more trees. Lots of cleaning up to do. I was luckier than many down here.
