Ray Bell;
How about posting some pictures and a bit more information on the fuel injection setup you have done on a Mopar flat 6?

wow!! i didn't know ray had done a tbi conversion on a flatty!

i am acquainted with ray from the forwardlook.net website. he's a good guy.

by the way, while i don't have diagrams or such, i've received some valuable insight from another forwardlook member about going fuelie. i'm a computer dummie, but i might be able to forward his tech specs.

and ray, if you're reading this, i still haven't found anything out yet about the rear end question you asked me, but i haven't forgotten yet!

No, I haven't... but on another thread I answered someone else's question about it... I think it was Leif in Oakland asked the question.

And it was karenfargo2003 who posted that in the Which engine to look for? thread.

Please, don't think I have that kind of ability!

And this is evidence of my lack of expertise:

I ask all sorts of questions... which one was this?

I'm on a steep learning curve with Mopar stuff due to my nephew's plans to race a Phoenix, but I've always had a soft spot for Walter P's engineering and in particular for the potential the flathead 6 had for road racing in an era in Australia when people seem to have preferred Ford V8s and Hudsons.

He did offer to provide photos etc if anyone was interested...

For my purposes, it's of no interest. But for others it might be quite exciting.

Now, who was it that built that rather special fuel injected Mopar six in the fifties or sixties... the one that ran on all sorts of fuel and had a rather special head with high swirl inducing ports?

The article about it was in Popular Mechanics... that would have been about 1963.
