does anyone know how hard it would be to turn a 3/4 ton into a dump-bed? my dad and i have a general idea, but any more info would be gratly appreciated.

Sam,I thought you would get an experienced response by now, but since not I typed into Google search engine "Dump Bed Conversions" and got several responses one of which was from "MotherEarth" News from the 70's that had a real home grown article on doing that project.

thanx catdog. i've tried just 'dump bed' and have gotten a few useful links. but this will help emensely.

Sam, what kind of truck are you looking to put the dump on? I've got a kit I bought a few years ago to add a dump bed to my truck and never used it.

stan, its a '68 C20 fleetside. i dunno bout it tho...cause i'm going about restoring this thing as cheap as possible. lol. so yea..
