welcome to the board.

im running a 250 in my 82 pickup...big departure from my old modified 350 or even my modded 292 in my 75, but it gets the job done somewhat economically and reliable as hell.

Welcome. I have a '65 C10 with a 292 and a 5 spd. Motor is completely stock except for the addition of HEI, headers, an Offenhauser aluminum intake and an Edelbrock carb and I just love driving it. Quick note on an easy upgrade for your truck is to install a later 90's Chevy truck seat. Fit in real well and very comfortable.

That's a nifty C-10 you have.

I like the Chevy 250 because when they are tuned up and have a muffler... you can barely hear them running. And they sound like a sewing machine.
