I am looking to put a big inline 6 motor in my '64 truck but i dont want to have to modify drive lines trannies and rear ends. I believe i have a 230 in my truck. What is a big ass inline 6 i can throw in there? Where can i get one?
Thanks Jason

A 292 would be the best/biggest choice. The pass. side motor mount and fuel pump will swap places, and the 292 has a taller deck, so the exhaust pipe will need some changes. Some of the brackets may need to be changed also. Starter and flywheel might need changing, but its nothing serious if the 292 comes with everything on it.
As to finding one, salvage yards, classifield ads, whole beater trucks, swap meets, etc...

I'm lookin for information dimensions etc. on that new inline 6 that GM's putting in the new trailblazer. I'm considering one for my '51 Chevy P/U. Any help would be appreciated!
