Can i see some picture of some of the mounts you fella have made ,and how you fabbed them .

i was thinking of using a plate with 3 holes and welding it perpendicular to thick squarw tubing what do ya think

The rubber donut mounts can be bought separately. Tom Langdon, Larrowwe & Sons, and Speedway Motors sell similar mounts.
I can post a picture later of how I installed the 194 into my '53, it's going to be essentially the same as what you want to do.

I am using the CE Inc Biscuts on our Anglia (dad fabbed the brackets). We chose them as the engien is a (hack cough, mumble) V 6 and the engine compartment is very tight (shaped like a funnel). We have found these to be exceptionally stiff (as they are basically rbeer molded over a metal insert) yet they do damp out most vibration from a short crank (4 main bearing V) SOHC 6.
