If there's nothing wrong with the trans that's in there, then switching to a WC isn't necessary...
If you still feel the need, the tailhousing will work on the WC, but the tailshaft itself will not, which means you will have issues with the speedo drive. You will either need to shim the gear as shown in the tech tips on our left sidebar, or you will need to get a tailshaft from a '93-95ish S10 T5 as they went to the WC starting in 1993.
You will also want to use whatever type of oil funnel that the NWC had in it (there were 2 different types over the years)...
