Inliners International Forums General Discussion Engines power sterring pulley/ crankshaft pulley

I am converting my 250 man. sterring to power. However the water pump pull only has one groove and the crankshaft pulley have two. What you would suggest? Find a three groove c/s pulley? if so wheres the best place? Thanks

The newer 250 engines have a 2 groove damper,then you can bolt on your 1 steel pulley. Then you will have 3 total.

The newer 250 1975 IIRC & newer,the v-groove spacing is wider than the older 250's.


So,,, Just order a new damper for say a 1970 Chevy Nova 250 6.
