I've got a 12 bolt axle laying on top of the stock spring and of course I'm too far forward due to the offset pin on the springs. I have the kit from POL to move the axle back but when I do I'll be moving the axle back to the point where I have to unwrap the first section of cover from the spring pack to seat the axle. And I don't care to do that really. What would keep me from just moving the spring hangers rearward on the frame rails that 1 1/2 inch or so? Or am I asking for more problems than I'd be solving?
