I have a 250 in a 66 Chev PU
Just installed one of Tom Langdons HEI distributer and coil.
I'm having a heck of a time trying to find the proper plugs, whatever that might be.The recommended R44SX is obsolete and replaced by a too short R43S. I have R44X that has been in there since I got the truck and have put very few miles on it. Seems to run good but the rich/lean on the plugs does not seem right. The conclusion of myself and my experienced partner.
Any suggestions??
Next week she is getting a 200R4 Trans, Toms headers, offy intake and an Edelbrock 500. Then it is on to the rust fixin. TP
