i think i might have some clearance issue with the fenton header i just got for my 235. the farthest forward bolt and the rear bolt wont fit.... anyone running this setup? do i need to clearance the header flange? they look pretty meaty so i could easily grind some off.... gonna be running a dual intake also. was gonna run a fenton also just to keep it all the same.

Are you talking about the forward and rearward bolts that clamp with the intake manifold or where the exhaust manifold slips over the original studs. I never had a problem with any mounting as far as bolts/studs are concerned. My Offy manifold needed a little massaging on its bottom with the die grinder though.

I just never had that issue. I suppose you could grind the flange down some if it's too thick, but not much. You can also take a little off the clamp. Maybe between the two, it would be enough to get good contact on the intake and exhaust clamp areas.
