'Liners,

After rebuilding my Rochester BV, I noticed that it leaks fuel from around the throttle shaft. I understand that this is a common problem with the old Rochesters and that the proper fix is to insert bronze bushings between the throttle shaft and throttle body. My question is this: Does anybody know how to remove the throttle shaft? The accelerator pump linkage appears to be braised in place, so I don't know how I'd do it short of drilling the thing out.

Thanks in advance...

Dear Wild;

Look for another one on e-bay. Then switch the base & linkage.

Good luck, John M....
