Ive been waiting for the right candidate for my c10. I was building a 250 but got discouraged at the price of everything. Scrapped it and have been looking for a 2006-2009 4.2. 291hp 275tq stock. aluminum etc. Well i finally found the truck i was looking for. Its a rolled over 2006 gmc envoy. 80k. Ill see if i get it next week.

I could always use the 4l60e, but i like my manuals. My Monte Carlos already a auto. Anyways can anyone source me a flywheel. I know theyre rare.

I was looking for a couple options on oil pans as well. Anyways thanks for your help so far.

I think EFI-DIY has the only option for oil pans so far. You might send him a PM.

You could always add an oil cooler and/or remote oil filter. It would add some volume to the system and keep the oil cooler, which is the general idea of a larger capacity system anyways!

Quite a few people are running 4qt pans for the 4200 and have no issues. GM made the stock pan to hold 7qts with the assumption that the Trailblazers were going off road with steep hills to climb.
