Years ago the 12 Port News featured an article on how to cut down a 3 groove 292 harmonic balancer to a two groove balancer for early Chevys and GMCs. I had one made for my GMC and it works fine.
I don't know about a two groove water pump pulley. I wonder if an old water pump pulley could be cut down leaving cast iron flange so that a modern chevy two groove pulley could be bolted on to it?
