Sounds like a nice swap. As to your clutch, I see no reason not to use an 11" clutch plate as long as your clutch and pressure plate are compatable with the flywheel and each other. 11" clutches were standard equipment on 3/4 ton trucks with inlines because an 11" clutch is able to handle more torque, horsepower and weight than a 9.5" or 10".
