Are you talking about the cast iron or aluminum
case Powerglide? If memory serves me the aluminum
case trans used 2 different converters, an 11in.
and an 12in. depending on the application. My
expierence has been that most will stall between
900 and 1200 R.P.M. For the smaller displacement
engines there was also a air cooled model. These
used a converter with fins attached around the
outer diameter and I believe they were 11in.
Probably more than you wanted to know ,it's
that coffee thing again.
