I have a 230 in my 1969 Nova. I did a compression test on it, but I did it when the engine was cold. The results were:
1-115
2-130
3-125
4-132
5-125
6-116
Is the compression this low becuase the engine was cold or does that not really matter? Are these numbers low enough to recquire a new engine? My engine does not run "bad" but it is not as powerful as many people claim theirs are. Others say their six with a four barrel and headers are fast, but my car is not "fast".

A little 230ci '69 Nova with a four barrel and headers!
