I'm told they were.
The "whole deal" here is very 'hush-hush' as there are several people involved with the project in total.
All these guys are "financially independent" and there were plenty of orders for complete units. So they didn't "go broke" or anything close. They own all the MFG rights too.
Somehow it happened in the (parts sales) portion of the operation as they couldn't fill these orders as their commitment was mainly to customers buying complete units.
All of these orders have been filled or the monies refunded, or so I have been told.
Right now-today; It's anybodys guess how or when it all will get 'sorted out' etc.
