The reason for this is so they will clear the stock valve cover correct? Because I was planning on building a valve cover out of aluminum for the BBC rockers anyway. And I also went through the archives and found some other info on roller rockers and have now decided I will probably go with a full roller valvetrain from Crower, specific for the 250. Thank you Edy and Winter for your info. The only fuzzy area left is pushrod length.
In an earlier post Mike G. discussed it quite clearly, but I am wondering if anyone happens to have measurements from personal experience with this type of setup. I am still a little wet behind the ears when it comes to valvetrain components, and I don't have the tools required to measure for proper rod length.
