My friend has several of the 370 and 413 flathead engines.He has a fleet of 1940 to 1947 Dodge trucks.Some of the trucks he has owned and drivin since the late 1950s.His trucks range from 1/2 tons up to 5 tons.He has 2 Dodge fire trucks in his collection and a few early Plymouth trucks.His trucks use the 217/230---251/265---370/413 engines depending on the size of the truck.He recently bought a 1957 Dodge dump truck.2 of the biggest engines were ex military with dual carbs and dual exhaust with water proof electrial systems.He also has a factory 2 barrel carb.setup from a 1957 Dodge Westener passenger car.All his trucks are still 6 volt.He also has several powerwagons.He has had a wrecking yard in Northern California for over 50 years.Most of the old Dodge stuff he keeps for himself.He only does old cars and trucks.Besides common stuff,he has a 1950 Reo Speedwagon,a mid 1930s Mack truck,bulldozers,tractors,windmills,hit and miss engines,a crawler? with a chrysler straight 8 flathead and much more.
