New member here with an oddball question.
I am considering the use of the mercruiser 470 engine as a base for a new racing project. This engine is an alloy block big 4 with a Ford 460 head. I noticed that one of the folks in the "Rides" section has one shown in a project truck(?).
anyway, I am having a devil of a time trying to get some genuine hard-core tech data on this engine and was hoping you folks might be able to steer me in the right direction. I would appreciate any insight into this engine and personal experiences you may want to share.
