As I recollect those engines were OK in a boat but because they were huge in displacement for a four cylinder they had a tendency to shake your fillings out when installed in a car. In a boat all the surrounding water would tend to dampen their shaking. Now if you are building something like an F/Dragster where the vibrations are not really an issue then I would look at some of the aftermarket heads, like World or TFS. Good luck.
