Bought one of their signs warning panhandlers and politicians to stay out.
Ate at the resteraunt there just West (IIRC) of the T intersection, I want to say it was the "Red Apple" (though it may have been some other reference to apples
). Good eats.
The staff of the Motel 6 was kind and helpfull.
I even got to ride the "bus line"
(at the time there were no taxis, so there was a shuttle bus of sorts that you could call and they would come and get you, worked for me)
