Personnaly, I always liked the gear spacing of the 200-4r over a 700R4.
It has a taller OD,less rpms on the highway.
Having a stock 250 will work fine or even a hopped up 250 for the 200-4R.
The 200's out of the Grand nationals are the better ones to get ,but w/a good rebuild it should be fine from a well known 2004R rebuilder
Plus get a lock-up conver & mileage will really shine over a PG.

There are mores items where a 200 is better than a PG.

For the most part a well built PG are great for a light weight High HP drag car,that is mainly & pretty much the only way I would recommend a PG,,,,or you just want to keep the vehicle OG = original.

PG's are OK,,,but old school,,,less take off power,no lock up converter = less mileage
