A few more up dates for you

Off to the machine shop:

Basic list of operations to be completed:

1. Drill for Oversized pushrods- need to be 3/8”
2. Damper needs to be recessed onto the crank by cutting a .250” relief in the gear to pull it on to both keyways
3. bore block .060 over with plate( being shipped as we speak)
4. boil block install cam bearings and freeze plugs
5. align hone block
6. surface block
7. balance crankshaft assembly internal
8. size wrist pins to piston
9. polish and mag crankshaft
10. engine assembly (on this one im letting the shop do the first assembly so i can get it properly recordered and checked for any futture issues)
11. o ring the block for my stainless wire- no rings on the head...

I will be sure to get some pictures of the whole process, i will not be dynoing the motor untill later in january/febuary time frame.

It will take a while to get all of the final parts, mocked up/fabbed up after it is built.

Also a new turbo:

I mocked up the new turbo to my cast iron manifold. Its a T4 turbo and a T3 manifold so i had to get and adapter the would move it up a little. The T4 can be adapted directly to it but i still want the option to go back to a T3 if i so choose.

Turbo specs:1.05 A/R

Compressor Size: Inlet = 4 3/16", Inducer = 68.7MM, Exducer = 97.8 MM, Trim = 69,A/R = 0.66, Intake (ID / OD) = 2.25" / 3.25"

Turbine: Outlet = 4", Turbo flange = T4, Downpipe flange = 3.5" V-band, Inducer = 87.4 MM, Exducer = 77 MM,Trim = 92, A/R = 1.05


Its a little big but we will see what it can do when it comes for the dyno day.

the main stud caps have been machined down to allow for the ARP stud gridles to fit.

Also the block has been Bored 60 over.

The crankshaft will be sent to a shop up in tennesee to get ground down
